Even though Russell had regained his independence, he never forgot the family that had cared for him when he needed help the most.
His visits became part of their daily routine.
Scientists have long recognized crows as some of the most intelligent birds on Earth.
Research has shown that crows can recognize individual human faces, remember people for years, solve complex problems, use tools, and even understand simple cause and effect relationships.
